What is Fractional Ownership?
It is just as the name implies...and more! You own a luxury vacation home, for a fraction of the costs, while enjoying all the benefits. You receive deeded title and exclusive use of your resort home for no less than 6 weeks per year. This deeded interest is yours to use, rent, sell, trade, or pass to heirs to create a legacy.

How does Fractional Ownership at Pacific Shores Work?
Owners have at least 6 weeks/year of usage. Each owner has a fixed prime block of 4 weeks from June to September and between October - May, a rotating 14 night block every 8 weeks. Owners also are able to *interally* swap their time, for blocks of 30-60 days in a row at Pacific Shores.

Can I buy more than one interest?
Yes. Many people find that ½ ownership is the perfect solution for their second home ownership needs. In fact, you can purchase multiple interests up to whole ownership.

Can I use Pacific Shores outside of designated time?
Yes. You will be able to use additional time at Pacific Shores, at a rate, designed to cover operational costs.

When was the completion date?
Pacific Shores can be enjoyed today! Fractional ownership homes was completed in October 2007.

Will I be able to rent out my home?
Yes. Pacific Shores will be managed by Aviawest Resorts Inc. The Aviawest group and principals have an excellent property management track record of shared ownership properties, since 1991. This ensures Pacific Shores will be managed to the highest level of owner and guest satisfaction. Pacific Shores currently enjoys an average year round occupancy rate of over 80%.

Will I be able to sell my interest?
Yes. Pacific Shores is fee simple real estate, just like traditional ownership. You hold deed & title to the property. A realtor is able to list the property and sell it on the MLS for you. Many other people have been successful at re-selling interests in this manner.

Who is the Management Company? What is their track record?
Pacific Shores is managed by Aviawest Resorts, a locally owned and operated resort management company. They have successfully engaged in the development, operations, marketing and sales of shared ownership projects since 1991.

Who is the Developer?
The Aviawest Resort Group and Pearson family with 30+ years experience with land, commercial, residential & resort development. The Pearson’s are the developers of world-class Pacific Shores Resort & Spa and Aviawest Resort Club.
